Disprivileged children in Hong Kong continue to miss out on education amidst the virus

The transition to online learning was extremely tough for these children, with many lacking a working internet in addition to a large workspace. As families living in poverty had been away from their occupations for years, it has been difficult for the children to continue learning, especially for those who were unable to afford a internet connection. Not only did they missing out on school, but their families dropped even further below the poverty line. When on-campus school began once again earlier this year, these children were far behind the curriculum and missed out on important skills and information.
